經過多年的服務學習課程, 深刻體會服務學習活動的成功在於學生與社區的互動和參與,這個獎項是屬於所有參與的同學與大家的。學生們通過動手做實際參與工程及活動,做中學,不僅將所學專業應用並且提升了環境管理技能,也增強了對生態保護的熱情。同時,服務學習也促進了社區居民對濕地保存與永續生態價值的認識,提高了環保意識。社區參與和教育宣傳活動讓居民積極參與埤塘生態池的維護,這對推動長期有效的生態保護機制至關重要。然而,挑戰仍然存在。生態工程的維護需要持續的關注和管理,特別是對於未來應加強水質監測系統的應用,利用遠程監測技術和AI人工智能,實時掌握水質狀況,及時處理潛在問題。此外,社區的持續參與加強環保教育也是維持永續生態的關鍵。
將生態工程課程推廣至跨領域的合作計畫也是課程重點,透過AI智能監測技術和景觀規劃與文學創意,讓課程呈現更全面的永續環境保護與關懷,指導的跨域學生團隊獲得「全人關懷獎」佳作。


After many years of Service-Learning courses, we have come to deeply understand that the success of Service-Learning activities lies in the interaction and engagement between students and the community. This award belongs to all the students and everyone who participated.
Through hands-on involvement in projects and activities, students learned by doing — not only applying their professional knowledge but also enhancing their environmental management skills and deepening their passion for ecological conservation. At the same time, Service-Learning has raised community awareness about wetland preservation and the value of sustainable ecosystems, fostering greater environmental consciousness.
Community participation and educational outreach have encouraged residents to actively engage in the maintenance of the pond ecosystem, which is vital to promoting a long-term and effective ecological protection mechanism.
However, challenges remain. The maintenance of ecological engineering requires ongoing attention and management. In the future, we hope to strengthen the application of water quality monitoring systems by using remote sensing technologies and artificial intelligence to monitor conditions in real time and address potential issues promptly. In addition, continued community involvement and enhanced environmental education are also key to sustaining ecological vitality.
Another focus of our course is promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. By integrating AI-based monitoring technologies, landscape planning, and creative writing, we aim to create a more holistic approach to environmental protection and care. Our interdisciplinary student team was honored with a merit award for the “Holistic Care Award,” a testament to their dedication and collaborative efforts.
