還記得第一次知道「全人標竿獎」是在大一的某個深夜，那時的我無意間找到相關資訊，翻閱著申請條件，只覺得「這是屬於很厲害的人」的榮譽，遙不可及。隨著大學生活展開，我經歷了許多挑戰與成長，卻從未真正想過要為這個獎項努力。不是因為放棄，而是覺得自己離那個標準還差得很遠。
直到大三即將結束，偶然回顧這幾年來的軌跡──從課業到實習、從研究計畫到社會參與，我才驚覺，那些看似零散的努力，早已默默拼湊出一幅完整的拼圖。
人生從來不是一步到位，而是由一連串嘗試組成的。每一次選擇、每一次投入，都讓我們離理想中那個未來的自己更近一點。我想，這份肯定不只是對過去的鼓勵，也讓我更確信，只要持續探索與行動，每個人都有機會走出自己的路。
各位伙伴們，畢業快樂！經歷了四年的重重考驗，我們終於迎來了遲來的畢業典禮，謝謝你們一路堅持到這裡。願我們都不怕未知、不懼嘗試，在未來的旅程裡，綻放屬於自己的光。
I still remember the first time I heard about the “Holistic Education Benchmarking Award.” It was a late night during my freshman year when I stumbled upon the information by chance. As I read through the application criteria, I thought to myself, “This is an honor meant for truly remarkable people” — it felt far beyond my reach.
As my college life unfolded, I went through many challenges and periods of growth, but I never seriously considered working toward this award. It wasn’t because I gave up; I just felt I was still far from meeting the standard.
It wasn’t until the end of my junior year, while reflecting on the path I had taken — from coursework and internships to research projects and community service — that I suddenly realized: all those seemingly scattered efforts had quietly come together to form a complete picture.
Life is never about reaching success in a single step, but rather about a series of ongoing attempts. Every choice we make, every step we take, brings us a little closer to the version of ourselves we dream of becoming. To me, this award is not just an encouragement for what I’ve done, but a reminder that as long as we keep exploring and taking action, each of us has the chance to carve out our own unique path.
To all my fellow graduates — congratulations! After four years of countless challenges, we’ve finally arrived at our long-awaited graduation ceremony. Thank you for staying strong all the way. May we all embrace the unknown and keep trying bravely, shining in the way only we can on the journey ahead.
