We, teachers and students alike, pursue mutual growth through instruction by both words and deeds, in a spirit of love and respect for one another.&#8221; These two principles have always been at the core of my teaching. For example, one overseas Chinese student had a weak foundation in mathematics and science, so I proactively invited him to participate in a one-hour after-class Q&amp;A session each week, guiding him step-by-step through problem-solving and helping him to re-understand the course content.
