To implement the school mission of "To exert students' potential to the full is success," the Office of Career Development is responsible for implementing relevant policies of the Industrial College. We are dedicated to knowledge-action Integration and career services. With the industrial resources, we strive to prepare students to be workforce ready by providing practical programs including Interdisciplinary Programs, Employment Programs, internship and Career Services. In addition, strong relationships with industries are also built (Productivity 4.0-Alliance of Schools and Small-Medium Enterprises), and external resources are provided from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Labor.

Office of Career Development comprises two centers for students, Industrial Talent Cultivation Center and Career Service Center.
Industrial Talent Cultivation Center provides the following services for students:

  1. Employment programs- Industrial Talent Cultivation Center conducts the innovative knowledge-action oriented programs. The employment programs recruit enterprises to give students work-related experiences and prepare them to be job-ready upon graduation.
  2. Internships- Industrial Talent Cultivation Center offers a range of internships including professional field-related internships and international internships. During the internship, Industrial Talent Cultivation Center provides students internship counseling and real-time feedback mechanism. After completing the internships, students will receive cooperative education hours and official certificates.

Career Services Center serves students for:

  1. UCAN career evaluations- Career Service Center provides various kinds of career evaluations to help students to find their job interests, professional skills and career plans.
  2. Employment-related workshops & Job Fair- Career Service Center holds employment-related workshops such as resume writing, employment trends, interviewing, and job search strategies. In addition, numbers of employers will participate in our annual job fair at campus providing job opportunities for students.
  3. Career counseling- Career Service Center serves students for Career Counseling Appointments. Professional counselors help students with questions about career options, internship/job search strategies, and career planning.
  4. Job match service- Career Service Center hosts a job match website for employers to advertise job positions to students and for students to upload their resumes to apply jobs on-line.
