INTRODUCTION

Brief Introduction

  1. Biomedical Engineering at Yuan Christian University is a International Graduate Program
  2. It is established to stimulate and support in all research areas of Medical Science

Course Offered
Fundamental guidelines:

  • MS students:
    1. 24 credit units and 6credit units of thesis are required
    2. Required to pass core courses and 3 related elected courses
    3. Thesis defense
  • Ph.D. students:
    1. For student who has MS degree in related field, 18 credit units and 12 credit units of dissertation are required.
    2. For student who has BS degree only (in related field), 38 credit Units and 12 credit units of dissertation are required.s
    3. Required to pass core courses and 3 advanced related elected Courses
    4. Required to pass qualifying exam
    5. Dissertation defense

OBJECTIVES

To provide Biomedical Engineering study for graduate and doctorate Students

For MS Program, we will be focusing on:

  1. Medical instrumentation system design and testing for Biomedical Electronic
  2. Biomaterial Development for Nano-Science and Nanotechology

For Ph.D. Program, we will be focusing on modeling of physiological System.

REQUIREMENT

Seminar (4 Credit Hours in four semesters)
System Physiology ( 6 Credit Hours)
MS Thesis 6 Credit Hours
Ph.D. Dissertation 12 Credit Hours
